family_port_es      EDPi was established in 1990 by Lois and John Finley and has expanded over the   years to being one of the most successful digital event photography companies in the nation.  Having worked with such corporate clients as The First Lady’s Luncheon, Lockheed Martin, SAIC, BMW, Eli Lily, Republican National Committee, Democratic National Committee, Maytag, IBM, AOL, The Freedom Forum, National RepublicanClub of Capitol Hill, Exxon Mobile, and AIA Trust, EDPi has a well established reputation throughout the corporate and private photography industries for outstanding event photography coverage.

Meet the Team:
Lois Finley, President & CEO
Lois has more than 40 years of professional photography experience. She has been awarded topKW8_2651_k1
honors by the International Special Events Society on multiple occasions including
Best Corporate Photography at the ISES Gala Awards and for Best Event Photography
at the International Esprit Awards. Lois is known for her keen attention to detail and striving for  perfection in every shot.  When not behind the camera, Lois loves spending time with her three grandchildren, sailing, playing golf, skiing and working in her garden. Lois’ passion for photography go well beyond any event, she is always the first person to pull a camera out at her family functions.

John Finley, CTO john
John Finley, co-founder of EDPi, has been a computer and technology specialist since 1960. At its inception, he brought to Event Digital, over 35 years of corporate sales, technology and management experience. Seen as one of the forefront minds of green screen technology, John has been the keynote speaker at many Professional Photography conferences and conventions over the years, educating others around the country about all the technology has to offer and the fun guests can have with it at events. Always seeking out the next best thing for onsite event photography technology, John is constantly reviewing software, lighting and computer systems to perfect the experience you and your guests have at events!  In his spare time, you can find John on the driving range perfecting his golf swing, traveling to ski out west and sailing his Catalina 42.

Kristin Wienold, Vice President of Operations & Primary Photographer
Kristin has been a professional photographer since 1996. She has photographed social and corporate events, meetings, conferences, awards banquets and receptions, executive/VIP portraits, conventions, corporate receptions, holiday parties, professional and kris_headshot_2013amateur sporting events and more. Kristin is most well known for her photographic composition and detail shots. She was one of two primary photographers at National Academy of Sciences 150th Anniversary Celebration with keynote speaker President Barrack Obama, for the Naval Aviation’s Centennial Celebration with the Honorable Leon Paneta, Sen. John McCain and Prince William – the Duke of York; and, for countless other galas, conferences & events. She brings with her a wonderful balance of business savvy and creativity… she holds two bachelor’s degrees: Kinesiology and Buisness Communications, and a master’s degree – an M.B.A – Marketing. Kristin was the International Special Events Society Greater Washington DC Chapter President in the 2011-2012 year.  When not at events or in the office editing, Kristin loves spending time with her husband, young son and their 4 dogs.  Kristin loves the outdoors and playing many different sports… golf, skiing, ice hockey, swimming and sailing to name a few!

Matthew Wienold, Part-Time Director of Operations
Matthew started with EDPi in 2004 bringing outstanding technology support to all of our systems.  He has an associates degree in applied sciences electrical technology and two bachelor’s degrees in Business and in Recreation.  His matthew_wienoldbackground includes product test engineering before joining the Event Digital team. Matthew always had a love and passion for photography which made his transition to EDPi seamless.  Matthew perfected the art of editing and became a lead photographer after training with our other senior event photographers.  He is part-time these days as his passion is in the boating industry, where Matthew is the full time Education Development Manager for The American Boat and Yacht Council in Annapolis, MD. When not in the office or working events with Event Digital, Matthew has a blast spending time with his wife (Kristin), son (Ryder) and their four dogs.  His love of sailing and boating carries through to his favorite pastime , racing in regattas.  Matthew is an accomplished sailor having won and placed in numerous regional and national level regattas.  He also loves the mountains where he can snowboard, ski, fly fish, hike, mountain bike and pretty much anything else you can do in the great outdoors!

Bob has been with Event Digital since 2001, he is one of our primary photographers. In his time with us, Bob has covered numerous high profile and multi-day events. He is a master at lighting and continues to teach lighting and photography techniques to some of the top up and coming photographers in the region. Bob has traveled the world photographing events and brings his knowledge and experience to the Event Digital team holding scheduled training sessions for our junior and apprentice photographers and green screen staff.
